IMAGINE Family STEM Events
IMAGINE Family STEM Nights give middle school students and adult caregivers exposure to different areas of engineering through fun challenges, introductions to different types of careers, and related activities. The IMAGINE Family STEM Nights and related materials are for teachers and parents (and even students), to utilize for exploring engineering.
Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering partners with DREAAM, Urbana Neighborhood Connections Center (UNCC), and The Well Experience to carry out IMAGINE Family STEM Nights in the Champaign-Urbana community. Enjoy a different engineering challenge each time. After the activities, we come together for a discussion about the activities, lessons learned, and challenges. A different engineering major is focused on every session, to give the students the ability to explore and understand the applications of all the different fields.
