WYSE Scholarship for admitted Grainger students
The Grainger College of Engineering will offer a limited number of scholarships in the amount of $3,000 to $5,000 for incoming first-year students who have participated in one or more Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering (WYSE) programs including summer camps, research programs, and community partnerships.
An additional qualification for consideration of the WYSE Scholarship is that you must be admitted into the University of Illinois for academic year 2026-2027 with a major in the Grainger College of Engineering (including Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, Agricultural & Biological Engineering, Engineering Undeclared, Computer Science, and Physics). Being offered a WYSE Scholarship will not affect your consideration for additional merit-based scholarships
Applications for 2026 are due March 16th.
