Simple DC Motors
In this activity, students learn about the applications of electromagnetism. They learn how the interaction between electric current and magnetic field can creation a physical force that causes the current carrying wire to move. They will create a simple DC motor using copper wire, magnets, and batteries (and a few other materials).
